FSY 2026. Youth can preregister for FSY through January 13, 2026. During preregistration, youth can indicate their preferred session and link with up to five other youth if desired. Preregistering significantly improves their chances of attending their preferred session. Preregister at: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/youth/childrenandyouth/fsy. 2026 is on-cycle for our stake, so PDS Ward will cover half of the $150 fee ($75 ward contribution and $75 individual contribution). The sessions for which Sierra Vista Stake Youth can preregister for are: 5/25/2026-7/4/2026 FSY Sessions at the UofA and Easter Arizona College (EAC). (Note: Youth can register for other sessions/locations, but do not have preference.)
June 9-13 June 2026, Young Men Camp and Young Women Camp: Both will be held at the Stake Level for Summer 2026 and both will be held at the same time. Here are some details: Young Women Location: Faithful Pines in Alpine. Young Men Location: Either Brentwood LDS Camp (50 minutes from Faithful Pines, 20 minutes from Big Lake) or directly at Big Lake. Each camp will have its own cooks, activities, sleeping quarters and schedule. There will be a few combined Young Men & Young Women activities held during the week (e.g., fireside, rappelling, lake activities, line dance, etc.). The cost for camp will be $75 per participant. We hope to have a fundraiser in the Spring to help offset costs to families.
The purpose of the Young Women organization is to help each young woman be worthy to make and keep sacred covenants and receive the ordinances of the temple.

“Our Temple & Family History work has power to bless those beyond the veil, it has an equal power to bless the living – it has a refining influence on those who are engaged in it.” President Russell M Nelson
"This work, unselfishly given in behalf of those on the other side, comes nearer to the unparalleled vicarious work of the Savior than any other of which I know. The great and important work of teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of the world is incomplete, at best, if it does not also provide for that teaching to those in another sphere and making available to them those gospel ordinances required of all if they are to move forward on the way to eternal life.” President Gordon B. Hinckley, Nov. 1985
