Beginning Sunday May 24, 2026, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will release a new “Friend to Friend” video for the primary children. It is entitled “Friend to Friend: Prophets guide us to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ”. Special messages by Elder and Sister Gong as well as the General Primary Presidency will be shared. We invite you to take time to watch this video and have a discussion about its message with your children. Connections for watching it are found on the Church’s homepage.
Tuesday, June 16: Single Sisters 45+ Temple Trip, 11 a.m. endowment session. Meet at the Taylor Chapel at 8:15 a.m. to carpool. Contact Sister Braden by the June 10 if you are planning to attend.
Wednesday, June 17, 6:00 p.m.: Activity Day-Boys will be combined with the Girls for water balloon games. Expect to get wet. We will combine activities with Chaparrel Ward to spread the fun around. We will meet in the northeast corner of the parking lot. See you there.
Friday, June 26, 5:00-7:00 p.m.: Songs of Hope: Watch Party. Sierra Vista Stake Center, 2100 East Yaqui St. Sierra Vista, AZ. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tabernacle Choir's very first performance at the Hollywood Bowl with a special broadcase of their benefit concert! Bring your family and friends for a evening of beautiful music and community. Special guest performances: David Foster, Donny Osmond, Katherine McPhee, Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus. Refreshments will be served. We can't wait to share this inspiring event with you.
A Couples Workshop (in-person) will be held August 21-22, 2026 at the Tucson West Stake Building. If you are interested, please contact Bishop Lambson (no later than July 23) who must initiate the process for you to register. This workshop is based on Hold Me Tight (Registered Trademark) by Dr. Sue Johnson and focuses on Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love: Part 1: A New Light on Love; Part 2: Seven Transforming Conversations; Part 3: The Power of Hold Me Tight.

Parents of Primary-age children: We are learning the Articles of Faith and are encouraging the children to memorize them. Your home is the most effective place for memorization to happen. Those children who memorize the Articles of Faith will receive a prize for their efforts. Thank you for your help and support with this!

Ward Roster Pictures: Brothers and Sisters, we are trying to update everyone's pictures and information on Member Tools. We feel this is very important for helping all of us to better fulfill our callings, as well as ministering and fellowshipping. If you have the ability to do it yourself, please get this done as soon as possible. If you do not have the ability to do this, or do not have the time or desire, then we are here to help you.
Youth Protection Training: Instructors of children and youth, please remember to complete Youth Protection training.
