• Saturdays, 8:30 a.m.: Building Clean-Up.  Our ward is assigned to clean the outside of the building April-June.  Assignments are by family last name.

• Sundays, 19 & 26 April, 6:00 p.m.: Temple preparation class for high school seniors at the stake center.

• Friday, 24 April, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Ward Party and Fundraiser - We will be having a potluck dinner, variety show, auction (goodies and services).  If you've missed it in the past, it's a treat!  We have a ton of fun and a great time... even though the auctioneer is a rascal. 

If you're able, please sign up to bring a main dish, salad, or dessert, to serve 15-20 people. You may contact Dawney Wolslagel (520) 456-4239 or Debra Petitt to sign up, or watch for the sign-ups today at church.

• Sunday, 26 April, 6:00 p.m.: Girl’s Camp Kick Off at the stake center.

• Friday, 1 May, 7:00 p.m.: Youth devotional at Tucson Rincon Stake Center 1655 S Melpomene Way, Tucson, AZ 85748

• Parents of Primary-age children: We are learning the Articles of Faith and are encouraging the children to memorize them. Your home is the most effective place for memorization to happen. Those children who memorize the Articles of Faith will receive a prize for their efforts. Thank you for your help and support with this!

• First and Third Wednesdays of each month: Primary Girls' Activities at 6:00 p.m.

• Thursdays, 6:30 p.m.: Empty Nesters "Come Follow Me" study group.  If you are interested, contact Linda Flynn or Carmen Benedict.

• Telling Your Stories: Let's get started. Here's a possible story challenge for this New Year:

Sister Joyce Larson is one of our Ward History Specialists. She has experience writing personal history stories and helping others with their storytelling. If you need assistance with where to start, choosing what to share, or producing a more engaging narrative, please contact Sister Larson at 520-266-3617.

• YSA Branch meetings at the Taylor building, Sundays, 12:00 p.m.

• YSA Institute and Activities.  Wednesdays and Thursdays.  See the Organization Info page for more information.  There is much happening for Tucson's YSA at the Institute building. There are links to sign up for daytime institute class, or drop in for one of the evening institute classes. Some newly-formed clubs to check out are boxing, mountain biking and a couple of creative workshops. See details at www.tucsonysa.org. • Ward Roster Pictures: Brothers and Sisters, we are trying to update everyone's pictures and information on Member Tools.  We feel this is very important for helping all of us to better fulfill our callings, as well as ministering and fellowshipping.  If you have the ability to do it yourself, please get this done as soon as possible.  If you do not have the ability to do this, or do not have the time or desire, then we are here to help you.  

• Youth Protection Training: Instructors of children and youth, please remember to complete Youth Protection training. It takes less than 20 minutes and is available at https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/callings/safety/protecting-children-and-youth . Use your Church Login. When completed your training status will be updated. Thank you!

• Temple recommend interviews with Bishop Lambson.  Contact our Executive Secretary, Brother Monte Matheson (480-628-6024) to make an appointment.

• Stake temple recommend interviews: First and third Thursdays from 7-8 pm.  Please see Stake calendar.  For non-temple recommend interviews, please text Brother Tyler Molesworth, the Stake Executive Secretary: 520-732-8813.  

• Mobile Temple Recommends (optional): Members worldwide now have the option of having their temple recommend on a mobile device, rather than on paper.  Please see the Church's info page for device operating system and Member Tools app version information.  A member of the bishopric can help you if interested. 

• Sierra Vista Stake Social Media: We're on social media! Please follow our stake social media accounts: @churchofjesuschristsierravista on Facebook and Instagram, and feel free to reshare our content! You can access the page by searching for it on your Facebook page and click Follow. By following the Stake Facebook page, you can see information about Stake events, activities, Missionary callings and more.
